The Prospective Clinical Breast Cancer Database

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among Canadian women, with Nova Scotia having the highest + age-standardized breast cancer mortality rate in the country. The Prospective Database is a Clinical Database in which we can ask research questions from.  No similar database exists in Atlantic Canada, so our goal is to generate high-quality information to improve breast health for Nova Scotians. This initiative seeks to build a prospective, usable dataset to measure outcomes and support further research on breast cancer in Nova Scotia.​
